7 Things About Me
1. My astrological sign is cancer!
2.I love arts and crafts and DIYs, but I really suck at them (A perfect example of the expectations vs reality meme)
3.I’m organized and messy at the same time! I actually organize a ton of things, but usually let them pile up before organizing them properly.
4.I’m a big planner.
I have to plan EVERYTHING in advance! Even while ordering food! I would go through my order in my head a thousand times before ordering (and sometimes still get my own order wrong). I also plan everything else, from scheduling of my posts (I literally write them on a physical calendar), book reviews (I write everything in a notebook), even the eARCs and books I need to read (organised by deadline). So, I’m a very big planner and don’t do anything without a solid plan first!
5.I used to play the piano for 3 years before switching to the violin
I used to learn pop piano (which was learnt based on hearing), but my favorite teacher left, so I decided not to pursue it anymore and I was also not really learning properly (how to play by ear). I’ve been playing the violin for about 3 years now and I think it actually helps me to train my ears better than the piano. Despite the violin being one of the hardest instruments to learn (the first 3 years are hell), it does get easier now that I’m unofficially at grade 4 (meaning that I refuse to take exams).
6.I’m not a morning person
I can go to sleep at 3am without feeling that tired, but asking me to wake up at 8am is hell. I definitely need a coffee which I don’t even usually drink.
7.I hated pink
I really like the color pink now, but in the past I HATED it! When I was about 12 I preferred a military green and after that I liked red and white, but when I grew older, I fell into the charms of the color pink and since then, I’ve liked pink. I used to think that it was too ‘girly’ of a color (I was an rebel emo back then)
