I was tagged by Mandy over at Devouring books 2017  to answer these questions about the NetGalley Tag! Definitely a big thank you to her and definitely check out her awesome blog! This Tag was originally created by Kourtni at Kourtni Reads.

The Rules:

  • Link back to the tag’s creator, Kourtni at Kourtni Reads.
  • Thank and link back to the person who tagged you
  • Answer the questions the best you can. If you don’t use NetGalley, you can substitute other sites or places where you get books!
  • Tag a few people to do this tag too.

NetGalley Questions

AUTO-APPROVED: Who’s one author whose books you automatically want to read, regardless of what they are about?

I don’t think you can ask a bookworm to decide between one favourite author😂 Well, mine would be, Marissa Meyer, Kresley Cole, Jennifer L. Armentrout and Erin Watt! I love their writing styles and would probably love any story that they write and publish!

REQUEST: What makes you want to request a book on NetGalley?

Usually I check out the cover and the synopsis! If the cover looks great and the synopsis sounds good too, I would definitely request it! It doesn’t matter to me if I have never heard or read any of the author’s books! I think all bookworms are all just on the lookout for more books to add to our collapsing TBR!

BADGES: If you could create one badge to display on your blog, what would it be for?

Hmm, I would create a badge for genres! Specifically romance, since I only read books with romance! (Only once in a while there are some rare exceptions.)

WISH FOR IT: What’s one book that you are absolutely dying to read?

For now, nothing comes to mind! I’m focusing on the eReview copies and some physical review copies (rare for an international blogger!) and making sure I read through them before jumping to some books I have since forever on my iPhone before returning to the other eARCs I have that will be due soon!

2018 NETGALLEY CHALLENGE: What was the last ARC that you reviewed?

The Queen’s Wing by Jessica Thorne, Toxic by Lydia Kang, Empress of all seasons by Emiko Jean, Evenfall by Gaja J. Kos and The Silver Queen by Josie Jaffrey!

Ah, I’m so glad you did this, and thank you so much for the nice things you said about me!

Did you get The Darkest Star by Jennifer L Armentrout? I’m reading it right now as a BR and loving it!

I was also just reading about The Queen’s Wing, pretty sure I added it to my TBR on Goodreads, but can’t remember anything else about it. I should check it out. How was Evenfall? I read Shadow Moon by Gaja Kos and follow her newsletter. She uses Booksprout for a lot of her ARCs so I have seen her stuff a lot.

Thanks for the tag, Michelle! The 2016 me would probably shy away from doing this tag because back then, I didn’t love reading e-books as much as I do today. But then I discovered Netgalley and Kindle and I just fell in love with reading ebooks (not to mention that I can bring ebooks around with me anywhere without any hassle!). This also allows me more access to ARCs that I wanted to read! Yeah, sucks to be international book blogger sometimes. Haha

Can’t wait to see your post! Same here! I used to not like ebooks since I love the physical feel of books, but after starting a blog, I realised the only way to have more opportunity to get ARCs is by being open to ebooks!
Definitely agreed that it sucks to be an international blogger sometimes!
