I was tagged by Mandy over at Devouring books 2017  to answer these questions about the NetGalley Tag! Definitely a big thank you to her and definitely check out her awesome blog! This Tag was originally created by Kourtni at Kourtni Reads.

The Rules:

  • Link back to the tag’s creator, Kourtni at Kourtni Reads.
  • Thank and link back to the person who tagged you
  • Answer the questions the best you can. If you don’t use NetGalley, you can substitute other sites or places where you get books!
  • Tag a few people to do this tag too.

NetGalley Questions

AUTO-APPROVED: Who’s one author whose books you automatically want to read, regardless of what they are about?

I don’t think you can ask a bookworm to decide between one favourite author😂 Well, mine would be, Marissa Meyer, Kresley Cole, Jennifer L. Armentrout and Erin Watt! I love their writing styles and would probably love any story that they write and publish!

REQUEST: What makes you want to request a book on NetGalley?

Usually I check out the cover and the synopsis! If the cover looks great and the synopsis sounds good too, I would definitely request it! It doesn’t matter to me if I have never heard or read any of the author’s books! I think all bookworms are all just on the lookout for more books to add to our collapsing TBR!

BADGES: If you could create one badge to display on your blog, what would it be for?

Hmm, I would create a badge for genres! Specifically romance, since I only read books with romance! (Only once in a while there are some rare exceptions.)

WISH FOR IT: What’s one book that you are absolutely dying to read?

For now, nothing comes to mind! I’m focusing on the eReview copies and some physical review copies (rare for an international blogger!) and making sure I read through them before jumping to some books I have since forever on my iPhone before returning to the other eARCs I have that will be due soon!

2018 NETGALLEY CHALLENGE: What was the last ARC that you reviewed?

The Queen’s Wing by Jessica Thorne, Toxic by Lydia Kang, Empress of all seasons by Emiko Jean, Evenfall by Gaja J. Kos and The Silver Queen by Josie Jaffrey!

Feel free to tag yourselves as well! Let me know in the comments if you use NetGalley frequently or not!

Halloween Creatures 2.0 tag

I was tagged by lovely Shirley over at ShirleyCuypers for the Halloween Creatures 2.0 tag, which was created by Anthony – Keep Reading Forward.

A Magical Character or Book

A magical book for me would definitely be Cinder by Marissa Meyer! It was the first book that brought me into YA reading and one of the rare books that I’ve actually reread (because I did a school project about it).

The Perfect Book to Read at Night

I’m not a fan of horror books, but I do read a ton of zombies books (oh the irony)! I think the perfect book/series to read at night would be the Solis Invicti series by Josie Jaffrey! It’s a good mix between dystopian and vampires!

A Book that Truly Shocked You

The cage series by Megan shepherd. The ended shocked me a ton because I had followed it really closely and it was the 2nd book that I loved a ton after Cinder. But I was so disappointed at the ending.

The Devil

A Dark, Evil Character

The Darkling from the Grishaverse! I love his evilness and wished that he had a redemption arc though.

Grim Reaper

A Character that Should Never Have Died

Refer to my previous answer😂 I still can’t get over it.

A Book that Made You ‘Hungry’ for More

The sovereign series by Josie Jaffrey! After finishing the 2nd book, I wanted to read the third book so badly and the 2nd book is coming out soon too!

A Character that You Would Protect at All Cost

I think I would choose… (My head is blanking out…) Cinder? (I swear my brain literally shut down while I was trying to answer these questions) Like I think my life would have been largely different if I never met Cinder as a character because I really learnt a lot from her and the other characters in the series.

A Book that Sucked the Life Out of You

The Queen’s Wing by Jessica Thorne. I finished an eARC and honestly wasn’t a big fan since I was mainly confused throughout the entire book.

A Book that Still Haunts You

The A Court of Thorns and Roses series! The book hangover was seriously very bad after I initially finished the trilogy, but I still miss it!

A Book that Really Scared You

The unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin! I actually really liked the 1st book, but the 2nd book scared me because of how dark it was (and how I could relate!) But I definitely would want to try this series again once the other books for the reckoning of Noah Shaw’s series are done!

A Character You Have a Bone to Pick With

(I can’t think of any right now)

A Book You Would Preserve Throughout Time

Is it bad if I mention Cinder again? I would love to preserve this book as long as possible!

Creepy Doll

A Cover too Scary to Look At

Asylum by Madeleine Roux! I never read the books but the cover scares me to death!

My brain isn’t working enough for me to tag people (I really apologize) so if you’re reading this, consider yourself tagged!
